HumeLink will deliver a more reliable and more sustainable grid, create more than 1600 jobs and generate major benefits for local communities along the route. Transgrid has contracted UGL Engineering Pty Ltd and CPB Contractors Pty Ltd (UGL-CPB JV) to deliver the western portion of the HumeLink project. HumeLink West involves the expansion of the existing Wagga Wagga 330 kV substation, the design and construction of a new substation at Gugaa and connection works to the future Maragle 500 kV substation.
